“Ellis Paul, while not a huge national superstar, is an acclaimed singer-songwriter out of Boston, known for his closely observed folk-leaning style of writing. He's been around for years, honing his craft, and his latest, The Day After Everything Changed, shows just how good he's gotten. This is one helluva record." - Read Original Napster Post
The Venue: The Lord's New Church Social Hall
Ellis Paul's show this September will be held on the beautiful property of the Lord's New Church in Bryn Athyn, PA.

When you arrive on the property you will clearly see an exquisite landscape with lovely buildings built by Theo Pitcairn and his wife, Maryke, in the early 1930's. It is no accident that you may feel like you are in Europe's countryside. The chapel and nearby buildings with their stone walls, sheepfold, and cobblestone courtyard were designed by the well known Philadelphia architects, Mellor, Meigs, and Howe, to look like a Normandy style farm. The Pitcairns loved France where they had bought a chateau near Fontainebleau and spent summers with their family well into the 1940's.
The Lord's New Church Social Hall is an acoustically rich, intimate room situated on 90 beautiful acres and surrounded on three sides by protected wilderness. Leave time to find your way to this beautiful gem and take a relaxing and peaceful walk along the creek, meditate in our gardens, or play on our playground or in our open fields.
